* assist the Government with the installation and testing of new RF technologies and VMS solutions.
* tasks will involve installing and testing cameras, networking equipment, VMS solutions and RF equipment within Government space and testing these systems for acceptability.
* tasks will include working with the field offices to install the equipment and migrate existing systems to the new VMS and RF technologies.
* Tasks will include performing site surveys, installing the equipment, labeling equipment and cables, configuring devices, updating drawings and writing help documents and provide on-site and remote training as appropriate.
* Will be expected be to test equipment & software and document the results of these tests.

* at least 5 years of experience in a Electronics Technician (ET role. * shall be expected to perform a multitude of tasks ranging from installing equipment, troubleshooting hardware, repairing computers, terminating RF and network cables, testing RF and network connections, running tests as required by lab managers, and documenting testing procedures and routine maintenance. * be experienced with RF and IP equipment and be able to use RF test equipment without assistance. * be capable of generating drawings in Visio and writing test result reports and “How To” documents in MS Word. * be able to handle the physical demands associated with installing RF equipment, network equipment, building equipment racks and running cables. * Experienced installing and configuring Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and VMS is highly desirable
Preferred Skills:
* Point-to-point microwave setup/installation Tower climbing/installation experience
