* Design and develop Windows software for biometrics systems
* Modify and enhance software in existing systems to support new capabilities
* Work with others to adapt and optimize R&D; algorithms to production-quality software
* Develop software simulations or tests to better understand system performance under data and environmental variations
* Collaborate with a cross-functional team of scientists, software, and test engineers
* Work with the software team to accelerate internal timelines and time to market
Required:
* BSCS, BSSE, or BSEE degree
* At least 5-7 years’ experience designing, writing, documenting, and testing multithreaded, C++ software for real-world systems and products in a (SDLC, Agile SCRUM) collaborative environment.
* Proficiency in C, C++, MatLab
* Experience writing multi-threaded Windows applications of a real-time nature with networking
* Experience in product development involving computer vision and image processing technologies
* Must understand both software and hardware and how they fit together
* Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
* The drive and ability to work efficiently and meet demanding deadlines in a fast paced work environment
* The ability to work with and integrate 3rd party APIs/SDKs
Desired:
* MSCS, MSCEE, or MS ECE degree preferred
* Experience with Python with .NET/C#
* Experience with CUDA or other GPU development
* Experience with C and C++ embedded development on Linux
* Strong background in mathematics, signal, image, or video processing
* Experience with cameras, lidar, and other sensor modalities, device control
* Experience with video analytics or biometric algorithms
* Experience with Intel IPP & TBB and/or MKL libraries, OpenCV
