Position Title   RF Engineer                                            
Position Summary
Using sound engineering principles and planning tools, this position supports the RF Engineering team with the small cell sales process, project implementation, and the ongoing maintenance and modification of small cell systems.
Essential Job Functions
  • Interface with Customer and cultivate relationship with their engineering teams.
  • Create small cell network designs and proposals.
  • Utilize sales process workflow systems.
  • Design systems by select sites, conducting CW tests, analyzing data, and prepare customer documentation.
  • Configure, test, and commission small cell networks.
  • Optimize small cell networks.
  • Support NOCC and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Support new technology trials.
  • Design and engineer small cell solutions.
  • Leverage empirical and predictive design tools.
  • Facilitate implementation of solutions and trials.
  • Conduct field work and measurements.
  • Operate test equipment and run post processing software.
  • Provide planning, coordination as well as drive testing including CW, benchmark, and optimization.
  • Coordinate, oversee or perform system optimization of multi-node outdoor SCN systems.
  • Work closely with customer personnel regarding system design, performance and optimization, recommend configuration changes.
  • Use a variety of measures to confirm system designs including test equipment, power density and power meter, spectrum analyzer, and pilot scanner.
  • RF and fiber testing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform ongoing system testing, test analysis, troubleshooting, test reports and recommendation for changes and upgrades.
Education/Certifications
  • BSEE ; MSEE preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
  • 1-3 years’ RF engineering experience or equivalent
  • Familiar with small cell architecture
  • Able to use prediction tools and Mapinfo
  • Knowledge of 2G,3G,4G wireless technologies
  • Able to create link budgets, calculate noise figures, and calculate intermodulation products
  • Knowledge of radio wave propagation fundamentals, antenna theory, and optical transmission
  • Able to use test equipment and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Engineering Fleet Program Coordinator In USA

Position: Engineering Fleet Program Coordinator: 

The Engineering Fleet Program Coordinator is responsible for every aspect of the Vehicle Usage planning and handling the day-to-day execution of multiple Engineering programs. Support is provided to the Product Development team with the end result being - Design, Build and Sell of the World's best vehicles. This individual must possess some knowledge of vehicles, an understanding of the Vehicle Development process and good computer software knowledge in order to work in Excel, MS Project and web-based systems. This individual is able to multi-task and support multiple program teams and engineers of all levels and all GM regions. The perfect candidate is a self-starter who has high capacity, is extremely professional, and demonstrates the capabilities to balance many varied tasks while driving for results. This position will interfaces with Quality, Powertrain Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Company Vehicles Operations and suppliers. The main objective is to provide the best Vehicle management support to the Engineering community. 

Major Responsibilities: 
- Single point contact and leader for Vehicle Usage planning and execution of multiple vehicle programs under a specific architecture of vehicles. Support the VPM, multiple Lead engineers and entire vehicle program team in the scheduling and execution of vehicle test schedules using MS Project/Excel from early Production to Production vehicles. 
- Lead Vehicle Development Team meetings where Program Vehicle schedules are created, altered and finalized to meet testing requirements. 
- Work with the Lead engineer and Product Validation engineer to develop new vehicle orders to ensure correct vehicle complexity in order to meet test requirements. 
- Create shipping documents for vehicle shipments to GM test sites and Global test sites to ensure GM test properties meet test timing. High Security guidelines must be understood and followed. Appropriate documentation must be created and approved prior to each High Security Vehicle move. 
- Create Consignment shippers for test properties going to supplier locations. Ensure Loan of Vehicle (LOV) documents are updated and on file prior to shipping to supplier locations. If not, work with supplier and Legal to set up proper documents. 
- Develop, communicate, balance and execute Vehicle Use plans for every program vehicle to ensure minimum vehicle downtime. (200-300 vehicles per person) Single point contact that interfaces with the DRE, PVE, ECE, VEOM, VPM, and Lead engineer. 
- Assist with the vehicle selections and set up of all Program Ride trips. Prepare Ride Trip books, assist with vehicle prep and Radio installation. 
- Collaborate with the Program Team Lead engineer to document the vehicle budget and inventory forecasts. Track vehicles throughout the year to the targeted inventory and budget. Expense vehicles as invoiced. 
- Understand the Engineering Development Test Process, High Security Vehicle guidelines and CVO Vehicle Usage guidelines in order to appropriate handle the vehicle schedules. 
- Support, coordinate and execute Engineering recalls and Vehicle groundings for the managed program fleets. 
- Assist the Program team with vehicle updates, SharePoint work tickets, Mass audits, Ride Trip events to ensure all required product updates and changes are documented and tracked. 
- Satisfy GM Corporate and Internal Engineering Vehicle and M-Plate audits. 
- Handle all program vehicle stages - ordering, prepping, scheduling, tracking and vehicle disposition. 

Qualifications: 

Required skills/abilities: 
- At least 2 years of experience understanding the Global Vehicle Development Process especially as it relates to building and testing vehicles. Demonstrate automotive knowledge of cars and trucks. 
- At least 2 years of experience understanding of Company Vehicle Operations, programs, policies, and procedures 
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Office software with using advanced Excel skills and proficient with MS Project. 
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work with all business partners at all levels. 

- Must be comfortable presenting in front of a group and making changes in MS Project on the fly 
- High level skill set to prioritize, organize, balance, and execute multiple tasks requiring good decision making. 
- Possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
- Possess the skills and flexibility to handle multiple requests in a fast paced environment. 
- Possess professionalism to interact with all levels of employees and management - VPM, Director, ECE, DRE, PVE, VEOM, Finance, etc. 

Preferred skills: 

Knowledge of these GM systems - eCVMS, CSTS, POMS, VTMS, Embassy, 

Familiar with ONS report and overall GM build process 

Understanding of GM Vehicle policies 

Understanding of the GM Vehicle Security processes 

Education: 

Associate/Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5 years automotive related experience
