Job discription
Duration: 6 months

• Duties include device testing/ evaluation, field data collection, debugs device connection and integration testing of RF system, as well as support for RF engineering platforms

• Setting up drive test equipment within a vehicle ensuring compliance to all internal guidelines

• Ensuring all equipment functions as per requirements before the start of every drive (special attention to external antennas, connectors, condition of cables, dead reckoning system, etc.)

• Creating job sequences for testing regimes coupled with full understanding of use of dial up modems and interaction with PC Communication ports

• Be able to monitor performance during drive tests and have understanding where performance is sub-standard, understand the reason and provide feedback to internal teams

• Must be self-motivated and able to self-manage provided work schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Engineer. Seniors in college working towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are also welcome to apply. Previous experience in a RF engineering / telecommunication position would be a plus

• Exposure to computer skills MS office tools, SQL, Matlab, etc.

• Valid driver’s license with clean record
